Phil Sykes - CEO

Phil Sykes

Phil is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of Community Season and heads our sales department. Phil brings over 15 years of experience in operations and company development. Prior to joining Community Season, Phil founded, owned and operated Rockland Industrial Products Group which grew from a single-office shop to a flourishing operation with offices throughout the United States and Canada.

Marc Kukura - Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Marc Kukura

As the CTO of Community Season, Marc leads the technology team and is responsible for the direction and management of the infrastructure, software development, systems security, disaster recovery, and technology partnerships of Community Season. Marc has several years of experience with rapidly growing software companies. Prior to Community Season, he was Senior Director of Research and Development at Digital River Inc, one of the world's largest e-commerce providers, and led the development of numerous online initiatives including the company's flagship commerce solution. This product development effort led to a successful public offering for Digital River.

Bob Strawman - Chief Financial Officer

Bob Strawman

Bob is responsible for business strategy and financial management of the company. Prior to joining Community Season Bob served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Digital River, Inc., one of the world's largest e-commerce providers. In February 2001, Bob was elected to the Office of the President for Digital River. Bob retired from Digital River in October, 2002. From September 1995 to April 1998, Bob served as Director of Finance and Vice President of Finance of Caribou Coffee Company, Inc., a gourmet coffee retailer. From 1989 to 1995 Bob held various financial positions at Software, Etc. Stores, Inc., a specialty retailer of software, most recently as Chief Financial Officer.

W. David Shields - Applications Architect

Shields

David spends most of his time working hands-on architecting, designing and developing software. Prior to joining Community Season, he was an executive and founder of a company that did pioneering work in Microsoft .NET for high performance and computationally intensive data analysis projects. David was Managing Director and a partner with Rock Creek Capital, a venture capital investment firm, from 1998 to 2002. While at Rock Creek, David worked with entrepreneurs such as Bernard Daines, the "father of Gigabit Ethernet" and founder of LinuxNetworx. He holds six United States and three foreign patents.

Scott Fultz - Principal Applications Engineer

Scott Fultz

Some things Scott Fultz has done: Drove a dump truck. Built pipe organs. Wrote and produced a CD called Junket. Swapped motors in a 1976 Toyota. Gave Dizzy Gillespie a ride in a 1976 Toyota. Built a log house. Played on recordings self-produced by a bunch of different bands. Spent four days in Orange County Jail for moving a birdbath. Played guitar in lame rock bands. Played on a cruise ship that later sank. Worked in a laser optics lab. Had a near death experience. Repaired slot machines in Reno. Played gigs with Bill Carrothers, Anthony Cox, Bruce Henry, Hale Smith, Steve Barta, The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, IMP-ORK, The Cedar Avenue Big Band, and an Elvis impersonator. Oh yeah, he's one heck of an applications developer too.

Eiffel comes to Community Season with 5 1/2 years of experience of making people happy. Eiffel is responsible for employee motivation, health and well-being, team-building, and general corporate merriment.
