Press ReleaseApril 6, 2006 Community Season performs research study of services for non-profit organizationsCommunity Season, a leader in Web-based management solutions for community-based organizations, announced today that it will conduct a research study of its services for nonprofit organizations with the help of Delia Kuczmarski, a graduate student from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. Delia will act as the researcher and will help facilitate recruitment, execution and evaluation processes for Community Season and nonprofit study participants. The nonprofit research study is set to begin on May 1, 2006 with 48 nonprofit organizations representing a diverse array of areas, including health care, advocacy, education, social services, and the arts. Community Season plans to use the study to obtain case studies and customer testimonials, conduct focus groups and determine the solution's overall usablitiy. The products of the study will help determine the effectiveness of Community Season's Web-based tools for online registration; payment processing; centralized database maintenance; and resource, donation and membership managemenet for nonprofit organizations. "We are looking forward to working with Delia to determine the effectiveness of our service, and to identify how to better engage nonprofit organizations in doing what they do best - serving their communities," said Phil Sykes, president of Community Season. "We hope to gain some meaningful feedback that we will be able to use to improve our tools to help nonprofits better do their jobs."
